Brief Description:  Align & Drill Skirt Bracing with Skirt and Canopy

The next steps in the Canopy Skirting process is to align the bottom cut-out of the C-660 Skirt with the fuselage frame so it nearly touches the frame and match-drill the C-759 angle-brace to the canopy frame holding everything tightly against the locked canopy frame and the fuselage. You also have to make sure you keep the skirt level and 1/64” -1/32” clearance above the fuselage frame. The instructions and diagrams are not spectacular in this area and after I drilled the first four holes into the canopy frame, I had to start over and gradually taper the match-drilled holes in the canopy skin downward as I drill towards the aft of the canopy frame. The right-side of the canopy went much more smoothly after I figured out what the intent of the skirt-to-fuselage alignment was supposed to accomplish.
