I haven’t had a lot of time to work on the airplane lately, but tonight I finished riveting the upper skin over the avionics suite. The pics show the order of riveting. I'll repaint the panel once I am sure the canopy fits over the painted area (I guessed at the curvature of the canopy) Now, I am finally ready to bring the canopy plexiglass in from the spare bedroom (keeping it heated to 80F) to center the canopy frame and drill the first hole for the canopy latch. After that, I’ll cut the plexiglass sides and start to fit the plexiglass onto the frame.
