One of the Last remaining things to do was to temporarily install the access panel from the engine compartment and secure the heat vent panel to plate nuts on the access panel. I don’t know who at VANs thought you could ever crawl under the panel after you had everything installed to put two screws into the heat vent to secure it to the access panel. Obviously, it wasn’t meant for some old, fat guy like me to install the screws…so I took the plate nuts off the access panel and mounted them to the heat vent panel, so I could install the screws from the outside. It was actually a good thing, because my original holes in the vent didn’t line up the way they were supposed to anyway. Modifications complete, works as advertised and I don’t have to try crawl under the panel ever again! Tomorrow I will start on the Sliding Canopy.
