Brief Description:  Created an Integration Schematic

It’s been a couple months since I’ve updated my Kitlog folder so decided I better stop work and do some updates. After I started wiring the GNS 240 Audio Panel, I realized I needed to create integration schematic. With complex panels, using different avionics and radios from multiple manufacturers I need to make sure everything ‘talks’ to everything else and only one unit is in control at a time so no conflicting signals confuse me or the equipment (i.e., GPS RS-232 IN/OUT, GPS & VOR/ILS ARINC 429 IN/OUT, COM, NAV, Audio IN/OUT, Signal Grounding, Microphone Key Pilot/Co-pilot input, Power and Back-up Power and Aircraft Grounding to complete circuits). The attached pictures show a breakdown of this schematic…wire-by-wire. This probably sounds kind of limp, but it took me nearly a month to do this. The good news is I’m positive it’s correct and am very confident all the equipment will function properly; and be integrated with a fair amount of automation…as it should be. The pictures with me in them are for the FAA so they know I’m doing the work.
