Brief Description:  Garmin Flightstream 210 Bluetooth Interface

I built another platform and mounted my Garmin Flightstream 210 just behind the pilot's seat in the cockpit. This is a Part of the Garmin Connext™ family of flight connectivity solutions, the Flight Stream 210 is a small wireless gateway that enables up to 4 compatible iPads and or iPhones to stream information to and from your avionics system via Bluetooth®. The Flight Stream 210 offers GPS, attitude, weather and traffic streaming from a Stratus 2S AND the biggest capability for flight plan syncing with the GNS 430W series navigators as well as the ability to display attitude information using an on-board AHRS¹. As a result, you’re able to use your mobile device’s touchscreen as a true cockpit interface – capable of transferring flight plans, streaming high quality GPS and AHRS attitude information to Garmin Pilot’s 3-D synthetic vision display, graphically depicting subscription-free weather and traffic. I have a iPad Mini that I will mount adjacent to my panel and can transfer flight plans from either Foreflight or Garmin Pilot directly into my GNS 430W and GRT EFIS & Tru Trak autopilot while displaying geo-referenced plates and charts on the iPad while inflight. Cool stuff!!!
