Brief Description: Installed GRT and Dynon Magnetometers
After encasing all the wiring in plastic conduit, I rebuilt the brackets for the Grand Rapids Technologies (GRT) and Dynon EFIS Magnetometers (remote compasses). I originally installed the Dynon remote compass in the same orientation as the GRT (parallel to direction of flight) and after I got it all bolted down with brass fittings (to preclude any magnetic interference), I realized the Dynon unit needed to be mounted 90 degrees to the direction of flight and the GRT unit parallel to the direction of flight. After 5 hours of rebuliding the brackets and remounting it's finally done.
