Today, I spent time on several outstanding small jobs. First, re-wired the Auto Pilot into a toggle switch. That was the only piece of equipment on the Essential Buss that I could not turn off -- until now. Since I received the Amp 2-wire connectors, I re-wired the EIS Warning light to use these. Then I drilled a hole and added a Lamp Test button (for the Annunciator indicators) just above the Digital Clock. Also added a 2-wire connector to the Wet Compass (light). Next, re-wired the Music Gain into a push button so that I can selectively choose whether the 20db gain is introduced into the audio system (this on the suggestion of those great folks at Approach FastStack!). ...And of course had to drill and mount the push button. I decided to also re-wire the Music-In line to go to a modified 3-wire terminal strip which will make it cleaner and easier to disconnect things to remove the panel.
