Applied the extra glass to the lower cowling behind the spinner ring. The upper cured overnight and I did some quick measurements and found I need to add a bit more glass to the upper in deepest part of the ring. Both curing now overnight. (While studying the parts during the cure, it came to me there could have been an easier way to do this: Rather than fill the entire area, then grind back to this filling, I could have used clay to build the thickness instead and then apply 4 layers of 8 oz cloth behind this. Probably would have been an easier job with less wasted fiberglass. ...To bad I didn't think of that earlier. Oh well. ) Pictures tomorrow.
