Put in a very productive, but tedious day working on the fastener strips. Marked where the scallops will be located, then used the air nibbler to rough out the cuts. Improvised a sanding drum by using spray adhesive to apply 60 grit sand paper to the outside of a 1 7/8" hole saw spun in the drill press. This worked very well to smooth out the scallops. Next, on to the Scotbright wheel to clean up the edges. Finished up by clecoing the strips on the firewall to check for fit.
