Brief Description: EIS Mount modifcation (MAP Sensor issue resolved)
Well, it's been a while, but the rough running issue has now been solved. The Map Sensor arrived from Eggenfellner earlier this week and even after installation the engine still ran rough. After consults with the factory, the recommendation was to clean or replace the spark plugs because they had been run a while with a full rich fuel mixture and could likely be dirty. True enough, after a good cleaning, the engine purrs like a kitten. What a nice sound! During all of this I've decided to change the mount location for the EIS -- mostly because the MAP sensor needed a close place to mount, and a change in mounting would make future maintenance of the EIS easier. So, spent additional time fabricating a new mounting structure for the EIS.
