Brief Description: Wheel Bearings and Mount Engine!
Long Day! Started out by packing the wheel bearings and getting the main wheels mounted. Suffice it to say that getting the wheels and brake assemblies installed took longer than I wanted. By late afternoon it was time to rent the engine hoist. Just as I was ready to go, Mike S. (thankfully) stopped by as planned after his working an 8 hour shift! So, we towed the engine hoist home and started right in. After about 4 - 5 hours of steady work lining things up and drilling holes, we had the RV-7A on three wheels! What a big moment to see the engine on the airframe and on three wheels.
