Brief Description:  Wing tips

This last Friday night and all day Saturday were spent working long hours earning a pay check so I didn't get a chance to work on the RV until late in the afternoon today. Shifted focus from the wheel pants to the Wing tips. Trimmed the left tip to fit the wing and aligned the tip with the aleron in the neutral position. Clamped the support rib in place to make sure that everything still aligns while leaving the desired 1/4 inch between the tip and aileron. Then match-drilled the tip to the wing permanently setting it's postion. Preparing for the nut-plates, I found I didn't have any .020 sheet, but had some .032, so cut the 94 inches (times two) of 1/2 inch wide .032 alclad to use for the backing strips for the nut-plates in the tips. No pictures today.
