Brief Description: Fuel Return Lines and Cover Plates
Trying to push through this portion of the build as it seems to be taking way too long. However, I don't want to rush this stage as I really don't want to have to go back into these tanks later on unless I absolutely have too. After more research on the Matronics forum about the use of ProSeal versus Cork, versus a combination, etc., I decided to go with the cork using a Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket Sealant along with Viton Sealing Washers (which I have to order) for the #8 screws holding the plates (and the Fuel Sending units) on. This should seal up nicely yet provide servicability in this area later on. In the meantime, I cleaned the parts, and riveted the anti-rotation plate for the Fuel Pickup line, and used ProSeal on the new Return line fittings as well as the anti-rotation plate. This will need to setup for a few days which should be about the time I recieve the parts on order. At that point I hope to close up the tanks!
