Drilled the 1/2 inch hole in each Fuel tank cover plate that will provide the mount for the 5/16 line bulkhead fitting for the fuel return lines. After test fitting some bent tubing, I wished now that I had drilled this hole in the lower portion of the cover plate rather than the callout in the Eggenfellner installation manual. The reason is that you need to use 45 degree bulkhead fittings (which I have on order), and having this fitting in the upper portion of the plate makes it difficult (gets in the way) to easily slide the plate into position with the fuel pickup protruding out of the lower portion. It would make it easier if both lines protruded out the bottom. More work is needed for this. (No pictures today)
