Nearing the point of mounting the engine, I decided to install the stainless steel replacement cover on the firewall. This job has to be completed prior to hanging the engine. It took a bit to cut to size, and match-drill the plate to the existing opening and I had dreaded working with the stainless steel again. It turned out okay. Not too happy with allowing the rivet gun to walk a bit and ding the metal some. Perhaps I will use that location to plumb one of the remaining items through the firewall -- but I may just have to live with it.
