Decided that I need to protect the brake lines from abrasion against the back of the firewall. Created a stand-off to serve as a mount for two Adel clamps. It was the first time I've attached a Riv-Nut (for the Adel clamps), so it took just a bit to get things worked out. I ended up having to drill out the stand-off and take it to the bench to R&R the 2nd Riv-Nut that was deformed. It all came out fine in the end. Next, I riveted the Rudder Pedal support to the firewall. Afterwards I mounted the fresh air vents to the inside of the side skin. I chose to use RTV, and pull rivets to attach. Thin metal back-plates were inserted between the shop side of the rivet and the plastic to protect the plastic from rivet. Should not leak...
