As I have such a small garage (single car), I need to have things mobile so that I can move major components in and out of the garage as needed. It's coming to the point where I need to work on the wings, but in order to do so, I need to move the fuselage and engine outside while I have good weather. Spent a bit of time at the hardware store picking up castors and fastening hardware. First, I mounted castors on the engine pallet so I could move it to work on the fuselage. Next, hoisted the fuselage up from the rafters and mounted the gear legs in the main gear mounts. Following this I created 2 10x10 inch platforms on castors so the fuselage is more mobile. Now that the fuse is up near to the point it will naturally be it's a very different perspective. I can now climb up into the cabin using the steps!
