It's recommended that while the Control Column mounts are easily accessible, to assemble for fit the left and right control sticks and linkages. There is a bit of preparation for this such as drilling out the bushings to 1/4 inch diameter, grinding the bushings to proper length and adjusting the rod length between the sticks. Once all this was done and the mounted up proper, I found the controls to be very smooth and clean with no play at all. It will be an objective to continue to remove all slack or play in the linkages all the way to the control surfuces so that even the slightest movement in the stick will have an effect. Also, it's important to be able to "feel" the control surfaces as they are affected by buffeting or turbulence. Very nice setup!
