Brief Description: Drilling the Vertical Stabilizer
Mike S. came over again tonight to help out. He had a few good-natured comments about not being able to leave me alone now after the mess-up with the left HS ;-) I ordered the HS parts from Van's and they put them on the UPS truck today, so I should get them by the middle of the week. In the meantime, Van's indicated that I didn't need to be held up as the VS is a stand-alone assembly -- so , Mike and I had a good evening of work and it's now match-drilled. Next for the VS is to dis-assemble, debur, dimple and prime (as necessary) then rivet. I hope all of the other building goes as easily as the VS!
