Brief Description: Completing HS Rear Spar, Beginning HS Front Spar
The major work of the HS Rear Spar assembly is complete and set aside for now. The HS-411 assembly has been final riveted. Began work on the HS Front Spar assembly by match drilling the HS-710 and HS-714 re-inforcement/splice angle to the HS-702 Spar Channel. Tapering of the HS-710 and HS-714 is complete. The marks for the 6 degree bend are set, and will be worked tomorrow. I decided to leave the vinyl coating on the alclad coated parts to protect them while working. I used a smooth tip on the soldering gun to heat and remove the vinyl where parts were mated during assembly. The vinyl will be removed when appropriate.
