Brief Description: Learning with the Van's Tool box
My good friend Mike came over and we worked on our Tool boxes to get the hang of working with aluminum. Over the course of two evenings, the end result is a useable Tool box and a better understanding of how to use the various tools and the methods of construction. ...And yes, I had to drill out and replace at least 3 rivets! There are a couple of standard rivets that have smiles on them but they will hold just the same. I think my favorite tools are the Avery hand rivet and the swiveling deburring tool. ...of course, that will probably wear off after a couple thousand rivets. Hopefully will have an opportunity to inventory the Empennage and start construction this weekend. (6.0 hours to learn with Tool Box)
