With help from good neighbor Jack, we permanently attached the Horizontal Stabilizer (HS) to the fuselage, then loaded the fuselage onto the trailer. There's more to this though... The legal maximum width for a load on a trailer in California is 8'6". The HS is 8'10". I submitted to Caltrans for a single trip permit for this "wide" load. A couple of faxes back and forth, and $16.00 later, I have my permit in hand. So, tomorrow after work is moving day to the hanger for N707SM!!!
