Fabricated a backing plate for the mount to provide a more stable base attaching through the firewall. Located the actuator mount bolt holes, and all of the rivet holes in the backing plate. Then used this as a template to match drill the firewall. Once the firewall was drilled, put a bend in a vertical edge of the plate, and riveted the nut-plates. De-burred the firewall and Gayle helped with dimpling. I was able to secure the back-rivet plate to the engine side of the firewall, and back-riveted the backing plate from the cabin. Everything came out sweet!
