Brief Description:  Complete Canopy fiberglass - start Cowling

It took only about 20 minutes to final sand the Canopy plexiglass then remove the final layer of electrical tape. Removed all of the protective paper, plastic and cleaned up the plexiglass. Looks very nice I might add! After admiring the canopy some, turned my attention to begin the cowl work. Decided to use the Skybolt complete kit for the Van's aircraft (RV67910J-C1P), found at: http://www.skybolt.com. To prep for this, marked a reference line 3 inches back from the firewall (to later measure the cut line for the cowling). Also spent quite some time determining/marking the spacing for the fasteners. Found that 4 inches will work just fine. Cut (the supplied) strips of .050 and began drilling and fitting these to the firewall. Managed to get the right top and side roughed in.
