Brief Description: Panel - Cut hole for Radio Stack
Cut the hole for the Radio stack. The whole is 6.125 inches wide by 6.375 inches tall. Fabricated 2 spacers exactly 6.30 inches in width. This is the best width for any radio tray mount. Clamped these spacers horizontally to the back of the panel centered on the hole for the Radio stack. Match drilled the vertical supports to the back of the panel using the spacers as the width guide. It's perfectly square to the bottom edge of the panel. Very happy with the results. Next will be to mount the radio trays starting from the bottom (GTX-327) and working up. (Also, spent about 20 minutes adding a support to the Dynon trays to reduce the flex of the panel. You can see the support riveted in place to the side of the Dynon trays in the 1st photo)
