Worked on drilling the skin for the AN fittings for the fuel tank vent line. Also modified the fittings that pass through the floor near the firewall for venting the tank. The threaded portion of the fitting that is outside exposed to the airstream is ground off smooth and then cut to a 45 degree angle. The angle faces forward into the wind presumably to cause a slight pressure in the line rather than a vacuum if it faced aft. A small bit of screen was JB-welded to the exposed fitting to keep insects and debris out of the line. After this sets up, it will be trimmed and ground for finish. (More pictures later.)
