Did my first crimping of connectors today. The tools from B & C Specialty worked just fine. The Main and Battery busses are wired up along with the Positive battery cables to each contactor. I had been considering locating the Magnatometers at F-707 but needed to determine if there was any magnetic disturbance from the contactors in that location. To test, I first rotated the outer ring on a compass so the needle pointed direct to North while placed on the outer skin at the top of F-707. Then, I energized both contactors to see if the needle deflected. Yep, about 6 degrees! My plan B was to located the Magnatometers in the tail, so it looks like plan B it is. Hopped around a bit after this and decided to drill the Nose fork. The hole turned out perfectly and is pilot drilled to 1/4. I still have yet to enlarge it to .310, but that will be done after it's drilled to 19/64 in place with the engine mount (pictures of that later).

~6 degrees variance when both contactors engergized
