Brief Description:  Battery mounting

Deburred all of the parts for the Battery tray. Trimmed and shaped the outer mount bracket. Finally primed the parts and let them dry. Riveted two of the mount brackets to the fuselage, then riveted the remainder of the battery tray on the bench. While I was anxious to be done with the tray, prior to mounting, I gave some careful thought to the F-789 elevator pushrod in the center tray. I had not fabricated that part yet when I realized that it would need to installed prior to mounting the battery tray permantly to the fuselage as the tray would prevent a clear shot at installing the F-789 Elevator pushrod afterwards. So, I took some time to cut the F-789 to length and prime both inside and outside (I let the primer dry overnight as it was pretty loaded up to drain down the interior of the tube). The pushrod will need to be fabricated and installed next. Pictures of that will come later.
