Brief Description: Installing the Elevator Pushrod
Months before I had fabricated the F-635 Bellcrank. I'm finally at a point to install it so that the Elevator Pushrod tube can be fabricated and installed. Installed the F-635 Bellcrank with the proper spacers. Fabricated the Elevator Pushrod. I made sure to let the primer dry prior to riveting VA-101 pushrod ends onto the tube. Temporarily bolted the pushrod to the F-635 Bellcrank and the elevator horns. Adjusted the length of the tube so that both rod bearing ends had over half of their threads engaged so that it would be impossible for a bearing to back off.
