After drilling the holes to route the tail light/strobe wires, I removed the empennage to store until later. With help from Gayle, we flipped the fuselage around in the garage in preparation for arrival of the engine withing the coming weeks. (I sent the picture to Van's and conferred with them about the size of the holed drilled in the VS bottom. Van's did not see any issue with this.)
