Brief Description:  F-656 gussets and F786A J-Stringers

Today I installed/removed the top skins several times. In order to locate the correct placement of the F-656 L&R gussets (4 places), I found it necessary to have the top skins cleco-ed in place so that the F-706 and F-707 bulkheads were in their proper place. The F-656 gussets could then be cleco-ed to the bulkheads, then clamped to the longerons. This required climbing inside the aft fuselage, which is a tight fit! The top skins were then removed leaving the gussets clamped in location on the longeron. I then drilled and riveted the gussets. Next, a centerline was marked on the two F-786A J-Stringers, and the skins were once again installed. The skins were then match-drilled to the J-Stringers and bulk-heads. The F-787 Stiffener rib, along with the F-788 gusset were also match-drilled. I then deburred and dimpled the bulkheads, stiffeners, J-Stringers and top skins, and set the skins aside for later priming and installation.
