Manual Reference:  8-10
Brief Description:  Rolled the Canoe Over

Today was a big day. After spending about 4 hours finishing up any riveting remaining on the fuselage, Mike S, Gayle and I "Rolled the 'Canoe' Over" and leveled it on the saw horses! A word of caution here: Make sure that before you flip it over, that any and all loose items (like tools or bucking bars!) are not laying inside the fuselage ready to drop on the bottom skin when flipping the fuselage over. I was very lucky that a tool that was laying on the F-705 spar dropped down and missed denting the bottom skin! Other than the poor picture shown, the other pictures of this day were also bad. (P.S.: Don't let anybody tell you that you can not build an RV in a single car garage! ...of course, when it comes to fitting the wings, that will be outside.)
