After enjoying some family vacation time, it's back to work on the RV. However, prior to getting started, I had been dreading, and finally did the cleanup and re-arranging of the shop to make room for the fuselage assembly and structure. After test fitting the parts for the Aft fuselage prior to leaving for vacation, it became apparent that the re-arranging is necessary. A whole day was lost to that activity. Back to the RV. Spent some time working on a jig to form the bend of the longerons; however, after some trial-and-error it was decided to use the recommended procedure securing the metal in a strong vice and hitting it with a rubber mallet. That turns out to work pretty good after all ;-) ...It doesn't take much of a blow, and if you are patient and careful, the bend turns out just fine -- without any stress cracks!
