Brief Description:  F-705 Prime parts prior to assembly

I used a new self-etching primer from PPG for the first time today. I am very pleased with the results so far. It went on easy using an HVLP gun at 20 PSI. If you don't put it on too heavy, you can still see ID marks from the permanant marker. It covered well and flashed pretty quickly - about 10 minutes on a 65 degree day. I'm even using the slower catalyst! I figure the slower catalyst is best used in the summer when it's hot where I would be too hard pressed to get things done prior to drying up in the mixing container and the gun tip while I staged additional parts for primer. The pictures show the PPG part numbers, the HVLP gun and the results. Next, it's time for riveting!
