Brief Description:  Center section - fabricate Cover Support rib

To fabricate the new rib, I used a piece of paper and contoured it along one side of the old part and transferred the perimeter shape to the paper. Then I laid the paper out on a flat piece of .040 sheet and rough-cut the pattern with snips. After cleaning up the edges, I marked the bend line for the long side then secured the part in the vise. I slowly worked the bend to 90 degrees. The next bend needed to be exactly at the correct location to insure the proper height of the part. After marking the bend and accounting for the bend allowance, this bend was done the same as the first. The part matched up exactly. What was left was to mark the location/drill the holes for the nut-plates and snap bushings. All-in-all, very pleased with the results. Pictures later.
