Began by enlarging the center hole on the forward flange of the R-904 bottom rib which will later accept a nut plate and eye bolt for the lower rudder hinge. Fabricated the R-917 shim that sits between the rudder horn and the front spar just under the R-904 bottom rib. Clecoed the reinforcement plates to the front spar. Fluted the R-903 tip rib and the R-912 counterbalance rib. Clecoed these ribs in place and match-drilled them to the spar. Ended up by clecoing the counterbalance skin to the R-903 tip rib and the R-912 counterbalance rib. Tomorrow the counterbalance skin will get match-drilled to these two spars.
