Brief Description: Rivet right HS skin to sub-structure
Mike S. came over tonight and we really made some progress. Attached HS-707 rib (top & bottom) to the right skin, then clecoed the right skin to the HS-702 front spar. Blind riveted HS-708 to HS-702 spar and the HS-707 rib. From there, completed riveting the right HS skin to the HS-702 spar and the HS-707 and HS-708 ribs. The HS-706 rib was riveted to the HS-702 front spar. Before cleco-ing the rear spar, I took a few minutes to touch-up any interior scratchs to either spar or skin with the Napa #7220 primer since I will not be able to get to these parts once the rear spar is riveted in place. As you can see from the pictures, the clecoes are now holding the rear spar along with the HS-404 and HS-405 ribs so all that is left to finish up the Horizontal Stabilizer is the rivets!
