Brief Description: Aux Fuel Transfer Pump Replacement
Well, apparently the Facet pumps I plumbed in my wings as a backup transfer methods do NOT have an internal check valve inside them, even though I was told by Vans that they did when I bought them. Good thing I stopped by Aircraft Spruce at Airventure to check. Now that I have the correct model number, it is slightly larger, so I'll need to replumb my lines. It's so tight in there (and I did not enjoy it the first time around), so I'm thinking about potentially using flexible stainless steel braided lines for this. Tonight, I merely disconnected the only pump (Left wing) and re-wired the correct pump in place. I will have to thing about how best to plump it and do that later.
