Brief Description: Proseal and Assemble R Mian Tank
Today, I started back to work after a rather long hiatus, due to Oshkosh and flight training. The first order of business was to proseal and assemble the Right Main fuel tank together. Barry has agreed to help me rivet the tank together tomorrow, so I need to get it put together to that point. Since all the parts are already fabricated and ready to go together for the last time, I started by wet riveting in the stiffeners, tank drain flange and the fuel cap filler neck. Then I prosealed all the tails of the rivets, along with the small bits in the outer and inner ribs, like the fuel "out" and the cap sender terminal. I finished up, by wet-assembling the ribs and skin into the final shape and let it set in the cradle until tommorow. It took a while to get it all together.
