Brief Description: Cap Sender Plates and Fuel Cap Flange Prep
Tonight, I finished installing all the nutplates in the cap senders for the right aux tank and whittled down the fuel cap filler flange on my belt sander. The deluxe caps, even thought they are "deluxe" don't come with the correct flange curvature to match the wing skin, so you have to machine them to fit. Once you do one on the sander, it's not a big deal (just takes a while). However, it's hard to grind down such an expensive cap flange the first time! :-O
