Brief Description: Match-drilling Right Main Tank

Today, I match-drilled the right main tank, all except the baffle. I also began the task of preparing the Newton deluxe locking fuel cap assembly for installation. While these caps are beeeeeeautiful, the flange they come with is not properly milled to fit the curvature of the vans wing skin. To be fair, even the stock vans fuel cap flanges don't match the curvature (I checked). So, in order to get them to fit, you have to do some sanding. I found that sanding the curvature down to where the "wear strip" is about 1/4" beyond the opening on each side is about adequate. I didn't take any pictures this round, but I have 3 more of these to prepare. So far, the tank is coming together well.
