Brief Description: Riveting more tailcone and battery tray
Today I was able to back-rivet the stiffeners to the top skin for the tailcone, thanks to some advice from Jim Berry. He told me that it could be done and you can still fit the stiffeners into the slots in the bulkheads after you're done. I'm really glad he gave me this piece of advice because back-riveted rivets always come out so nice, and it saves me from having to buck a whole lot of rivets from the inside of the tailcone (i.e. climbing inside). After only a few hours, I had reached a good stopping point, so it was time to play with Amelia. No pics of me working, but a few of her playing...
