Brief Description:  Cutting Tailcone Stiffeners

Tonight I managed to steal away for a few hours when Amelia was sleeping and cut the stiffeners for the tailcone. It's a challenge because the cuts are supposed to be made at a 45 degree angle and the stiffener is an S=shaped piece of aluminum. I found the best way was to use the angled guide that came with my bandsaw. I got the angle and marking lined up, then held each piece firmly in my hand against the guide to keep the bansaw from kicking the metal. It worked out well and the pieces all came out great. However, I managed to burn myself pretty well on a hot piece of metal as I was cleaning off the table in between cuts. Bandaged it up and called it a night.
