Brief Description: Dimpling and Countersinking Elevator Ribs
Today, Aneta and I delivered our family to the airport for their trip back home after a nice long visit with us. It was great to have them here for the holidays, and they were very helpful with Amelia too. Shortly after returning home, I figured it was time to get started back on the plane project. I spent a couple of hours dimpling with my new tool from Cleavland, which allows dimpling in very tight spaces. Also, I completed all the countersinking of the AEX wedges that will make up the elevator trailing edges.
Tight space dimpling tool.
Countersink set up. By leaving a space in the work surface, you can angle the CS cage.
