Since we have to wait on replacement parts from Vans for the rear spar of the vertical stabilizer, Aneta and I decided to start with Section 7, the rudder. The first series of tasks involve fabricating several stiffeners and other parts for the rudder. Using the band saw, sander and scotchbrite wheel made short work of this, but there were a lot of pieces to measure and cut, so it's good Aneta lent me a hand.
Aneta measured and marked all of the pieces for cutting.
I ran the band saw and didn't lose any fingers!
Many cuts later, it was time to remove the protective film, mark and debur the pieces.
