Brief Description: Fitting the Elevators to the Horizontal Stabilizer
Today I finished up the last of the rivets on the tailcone (YAY!) and started on the empennage attach segment of the build. During this phase, parts that I manufactured long ago get test-fitted together and match-drilled to set up their final orientation on the plane. While it's not the final attachment of these parts, (i.e.they will come off again and be stored until later) it's very exciting to be putting parts together. I am still surprised by the size of everything!
