After a long absence from the shop, travelling to visit family in Poland, I decided it was time to get back to it. I got some free, laminated poster maps from Doug, a friend of mine, who recently moved to Washington state. I thought it would be cool to draw range circles showing "un-refueled distances" that will be achievable with my finished plane. The first ring represents range with only the main tanks half full. The second shows full mains only. The third shows range with the aux tanks half full, on top of full mains, and the last ring shows the approximate distance the plane will fly with full mains and aux tanks, flying at 55% power. It's really cool to think that I could fly non-stop from Denver to the Bahamas...
