Brief Description: Disassembling the Tail & Cleaning the Shop
Today, after Amelia's first swim lesson, I finished disassembling the tail and put everything away in storage, except the tailcone itself. Then I completely cleaned the shop and rearranged everything to make room for working on the wings. The spars are so big, I had to put both of my long tables (6'-0" long each) back to back to make a work space. I also installed an automatic drain system on my compressor. This do-hickey purges the moisture from the compressor every so often so I don't have to get on my hands and knees to open the stop cock every night before bed. I suspect a lot of drilling in the very near future on the wings, so this should be a welcome relief.
