Today, I rough cut the fiberglass "skids" that go onto the side of the MotoPod. These skids prevent damage to the fiberglass of the pod, when you lift it up on its side to get the MotoCycle out, or put it in. The skids are made of thick fiberglass, but need to be rough-cut, fit and then coated with a protective surface before bonding to the MotoPod. I intend to use a durable "truck bedliner" material on these skids. It is available in rattle cans and should hold up well.
