Today, I worked on the MotoPod some more, according to the MotoPod fabrication instructions. After installing the latch/hoisting assemblies, it was time to install the wheels assemblies on the bottom of the MotoPod. They allow the pod to roll on the ground, in order to move it under the belly of the plane, or out from under the plane. They are heavy duty, solid material wheels, like what you'd find on a rolling pallette jack. I guess they have to be tough to withstand the carrying capacity of the pod, which is about 250 lbs.
